Call for Papers: ZULFAQAR Journal of Defence Management, Social Science & Humanities (JDMSSH), Vol. 2, 2024

The ZULFAQAR Journal of Defence Management, Social Science & Humanities (JDMSSH) invites scholars, researchers, and practitioners to submit original papers and reviews for its second volume in 2024. JDMSSH is dedicated to facilitating knowledge enhancement related to various aspects of management, social science, and humanities, specifically focusing on defence and security.  For this volume, we seek high-quality manuscripts that contribute to the following research areas:

 

Cybersecurity and Cyber Warfare:

Papers explore strategies, policies, and management practices to protect national security from cyber threats and warfare.

 

Strategic Defence Management:

Studies focused on the planning, coordinating, and implementing defence strategies and operations, including resource allocation and risk management.

 

Conflict Resolution and Peace Studies:

Research on methodologies and frameworks for resolving conflicts, promoting peace, and the role of international organisations in conflict zones.

 

Military Sociology:

Analyses of social structures, roles, and dynamics within military organisations, addressing impacts on family life, gender issues, and veteran affairs.

 

Terrorism and Counterterrorism Strategies:

Exploration of the causes, methods, and impacts of terrorism, alongside developing and accessing counterterrorism policies and practices.

 

Military Education:

Studies on military education programs, including training methods, curriculum development, and their impact on readiness and leadership.

 

Geopolitical Studies and International Relations:

Research on the strategic interactions between nations, the influence of geography on politics, and the effects of international policies on global stability.

 

Public Policy and Governance in Defence:

Studies on formulating, implementing, and evaluating public policies related to defence and security and their impact on governance.

 

Defence Economics and Budgeting:

Examination of economic principles applied to defence, including defence spending, cost-benefit analysis of defence projects, and financial management in defence sectors.

 

History of Warfare and Military Strategy:

Research on historical battles, military strategies, their evolution over time, lessons learned, and implications for modern defence strategies.

 

Cultural and Psychological Aspects of Warfare:

Investigations into the cultural and psychological impacts of warfare on soldiers and civilians, including PTSD, resilience, and the role of propaganda.

 

Submission Guidelines:

  • Manuscripts should be original and not under consideration by other journals.
  • Reviews, case studies, and theoretical papers are welcome.
  • Submissions should adhere to the journal's formatting and style guidelines, which can be found on our website.

Notification of Acceptance: October 15, 2024

Final Manuscript Due: November 30, 2024
